State of SAISD Breakfast

The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and San Antonio Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) Foundation host SAISD Superintendent Pedro Martinez for a discussion about the State of SAISD. The economic competitiveness of any city relies not only on great employers, but also great schools. San Antonio is growing in global competitiveness and our local school districts play a critical role in that continued growth. With more than 50,000 students, SAISD is the largest inner-city school district with approximately 90 schools in the center of San Antonio. Join Superintendent Pedro Martinez as he provides the State of SAISD with an update on the district’s bold, strategic plan initially implemented in 2016, the expansion of options for students and their families, and continued plans for ensuring SAISD is a model urban school district for the country.
