Red Ribbon Luncheon: Empowering Children to Live Drug-Free

Join us for our annual Red Ribbon Charity Luncheon on Thursday, October 31, 2019. This year's keynote speaker will be Sam Quinones, journalist, storyteller, former LA Times reporter, and author of three acclaimed books of narrative nonfiction. His book, Dreamland; The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic, was selected a National Book Critics Circle Award winner. He recently adapted this book for a young adult audience, explaining the roots of the current opiate crisis.

We will be honoring San Antonio attorney, Allan K. DuBois, for his dedicated support of the work SACADA does for our community. Emcee will be Dave Rios of KONO 101.1.  A silent auction and raffle will be held at the event. All proceeds will benefit our Youth Prevention Programs in Bexar and surrounding counties.
